We receive no government funding.  About 25% of our budget is received from our local United Way. The remaining monies come from numerous community donations and the hard work and commitment of many fund-raising volunteers.

Big Brothers Big Sisters locally has a number of events throughout the year to generate the funding we need to provide our services to Little Sisters and Brothers and other innovative children's mentoring programs.

Our biggest annual fund-raising endeavours include Bowl for Kids Sake, the Chatham-Kent Wedding Show and our Harley Raffle.  Click on the links to the right for more information about a particular event.

Your support of any of our fund-raising efforts is greatly appreciated and allows you to help us invest in the future of girls and boys in our communities. In 2009, we adopted Imagine Canada's Ethical Code to be better able to ensure those who support us that we adhere to strict ethical and fund-raising practices.  We are one of 300 leading edge Canadian charities  which upholds high standards of accountability and transparency.
