They are unique individuals who:
- Are aged 6 to 16 years
- May be from a single OR two-parent family
- Experiencing difficulties at home, at school, or with friends
- Need encouragement to meet their challenges
- Want a special friend to talk to, learn from, and share life’s experiences with
The majority of Little Brothers and Sisters are referred to our organization by other agencies and professionals in the community.

- 3 hours a week of fun and a chance to learn
- The opportunity for girls to meet their challenges
- A special one-to-one relationship
OUR PROGRAM IS FREE!!!
There is no fee to the Little Brother or Sister and their families to be matched or to participate in our program or activities.
WHO ARE BIG BROTHERS & BIG SISTERS?
- Caring , responsible adults
- 18 years or older
- Screened by police
- Trained and supervised by professional staff
THE MATCHING PROCESS
- Complete the application form
- Caseworker will set up a date & time to meet with you and your child in your home
- You’re notified about our decision and if accepted, your child is put on our Waiting List
- Be prepared to wait: it takes time to find the best volunteer to meet each Little Brother's or Sister's needs
